Processing personal data
In the course of providing its services, Media Hologram processes personal data. Media Hologram finds it important to handle these personal data with care. Personal data that you leave with us or that you (at a later time) send or hand over to us, are therefore always carefully processed and protected. In this processing we take into account applicable laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). In this privacy statement, we explain what data we process, why we process these data, for how long we do so and what rights you have when we process your personal data.

What data do we process?
Depending on your relationship with Media Hologram and the purpose of data processing, we may process the following personal data (or some of it):

- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Company name
- Other personal data you provide in connection with our services or at the

- C.V. information in applications
- Preferences for specific services

Why do we process personal data?
Media Hologram processes personal data of persons who use our products and services, because there is an agreement with you or your organization or the organization for which you perform work, or because you have otherwise provided data to us yourself, for example in the context of requesting information from our company. The main purposes for processing personal data are;

- Supply and quotation of products and services and related service
- Communication, such as answering questions and complaints and providing information and service
- Getting in touch with candidates in connection with filling our vacancies

Basis of processing.
The personal data that we process for the aforementioned purposes, we process on the basis of at least one legal basis. The legal grounds on the basis of which we process your personal data are:

Execution of an agreement
Data processing may be necessary for the performance of a contract.

Legal duty
Data processing may be necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Legitimate interest
Data processing may be based on a legitimate interest of Media Hologram, think for example of processing in the context of internal management, for the purpose of effective communication or for the improvement of products and services.

- Permission
Sometimes we ask for your consent to process your personal data. You can withdraw your permission at any time. From that moment on we will stop processing the data for which you have given permission, unless there is (also) another basis for processing your data.

How long do we keep your data?
We keep your personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which the data was provided, unless there is a legal obligation to keep the data longer. The retention period may therefore vary for each category of data. For example, if you have provided your data only to be called back for a question, your data will be deleted shortly after contact has been made, unless otherwise agreed with you. If your data is processed because we supply products or services to you, a legal retention period may apply after the products and/or services have been supplied. Your data is never kept indefinitely. Your data will be stored (until deleted) on servers within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA). Should this be different in any case, we will use servers that offer the same (European) guarantees.

Data minors
Media Hologram does not target minors, however, we cannot prevent minors from accessing our website and possibly leaving personal information. We request, when we find that we have received data via our website from persons under 16 years of age, additional consent from parents/guardians/representatives. If we do not receive such consent promptly, within 48 hours, after being requested to do so (and if we also do not receive contact information from parents/guardians/representatives within that period), we will delete such personal data. We encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities at all times in order to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you find that we have collected personal data about/from a minor without the aforementioned consent, please contact us at info@mediahologram.nl and we will delete this information.

Sharing with others
Media Hologram does not sell your data to third parties. The data will only be shared with other parties if necessary for the execution of our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation, for example at the request of a court or other competent authority. In some cases we use third parties (auxiliary persons/companies) to support us in carrying out certain activities. Examples include third-party billing solutions and parties that support us in providing newsletters. If these third parties are given access to your personal data in this context, this will only be done with parties who handle your personal data with care and in accordance with the AVG. In principle, we will not transfer personal data to third parties outside the European Union / European Economic Area, unless sufficient guarantees regarding your privacy - in accordance with the AVG - are provided. Media Hologram will of course remain responsible for these processing operations. We conclude processing agreements with our partners for this purpose.

Mapping website traffic - Cookies
Media Hologram uses a variety of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored by the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit the website. Media Hologram uses two different types of cookies.

a. Functional cookies: are cookies with a purely technical functionality. They ensure that the website works properly, such as remembering your preferences. The basis for the use of functional cookies is our legitimate interest, as stipulated in Article 6(1)(f) of the AVG. Media Hologram's interest is based on the need to ensure the proper functioning of the website.

b. Analytical cookies: Analytical cookies are used to analyze exactly how a website is used by visitors. Think about how often the website is visited, which pages are viewed or on which pages many people leave the website. These cookies can track your browsing behavior on the website. These cookies are placed when using analytical service providers, such as Google
Analytics. In most cases, analytics cookies do not have a major impact on anyone's privacy. The information Google gets from Web sites is anonymized as much as possible. The information is stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Privacy Shield principles. There is a good level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Besecurity
Media Hologram takes the protection of your data seriously. Media Hologram therefore takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification, both internally and externally.

Your rights - access, modification, deletion, etc.
You have the right to submit a request to us to see which of your personal data is being processed by us. You can also indicate whether you wish to have (part of) your data changed or removed from our system. You can submit a request to supplement, correct, rectify or delete your personal data or submit a request to restrict the personal data processing. We will comply with such requests as soon as possible, but within 4 weeks, or give a reasoned explanation as to why your request cannot (yet) be carried out. Personal Data Authority
If you are of the opinion that we have processed your personal data in an improper or unlawful manner and that we have not/insufficiently responded to your objection or request, as referred to above, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority. 

Obtaining data from another organization
In some cases, we may receive private information about you from another organization. For example, you may work for a company that partners with Media Hologram. In order to fulfill an agreement or the request thereof, we may receive your name and/or phone number. We strive - if possible - to process your company phone and / or company email address as much as possible and thus not store more private data than necessary. We store the data in systems that are digitally secured and not accessible to third parties.

Importance of personal data and your consent

In our commitment to transparency and respect for privacy, we would like to clarify what happens if you choose not to provide personal data to us or do not consent to the processing of data.

When you do not provide personal data:
If you choose not to provide personal data to us, it may affect our ability to provide our services. Personal data is essential to providing our services, conducting transactions and providing relevant information. Without it, we may not be able to meet the needs of you or your employer.

When you do not consent to operation of your data:
It is of great importance to us to respect the privacy and choices of our customers. If you do not (no longer) consent to the processing of your data, we will not be able to use this data (any longer) for purposes for which consent is required.
