FME is the employers' organization for the technological industry in the Netherlands and represents over 2,100 member companies. This network includes technology startups, SMEs, large industrial players, and multinationals. Companies like Philips and ASML are part of this broader member network through their Dutch organizations. FME thus plays an important role in strengthening the Dutch technological industry and focuses on themes such as innovation, digitalization, sustainability, energy, mobility, and labor market development.
On May 28, 2026, FME celebrated its 75th anniversary at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. During this milestone, members, partners, and stakeholders gathered to reflect on the past, present, and future of the Dutch technological industry. The presence of King Willem-Alexander gave the event extra prestige. The Peter Wennink Tech Award was also presented during the program.
For this anniversary celebration, Media Hologram was asked to enhance the presentation and the overall event experience with hologram technology. On stage, we created two Pearl holograms that were used to support the presentation. These holograms displayed, among other things, logos, text, and visual support during the award ceremony. By precisely coordinating the holograms with the content and timing of the presentation, a smooth and professional overall experience was created. Additionally, Lexie played an active role within the event. Lexie opened the program in a playful way, immediately ensuring a surprising and contemporary start to the day. After the official program, Lexie remained part of the experience during the reception, where visitors could interact with her. In the dining area, the Pearl holograms were also set up again to further enhance the event and maintain the visual theme of the day.
This project demonstrates how holograms can be used for anniversary events, conferences, award shows, and high-end corporate events. By combining stage support, interactive AI, and visual brand enhancement, an event is created that is not only content-rich but also clearly more memorable for attendees.
