The Johan Cruyff Foundation is dedicated to getting children and young people active, with a special focus on children for whom sports are not a given. Through projects, sports events, and adapted sports opportunities, the foundation works to create more space for sports, play, and growth. "Koken met een Doel" (Cooking with a Purpose) is an annual fundraising dinner and cooking event organized by the Johan Cruyff Foundation, in collaboration with De Librije. During the 2023 edition, held at the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam, nearly €492,932 was raised through, among other things, a lottery, silent auctions for shirts, and a live auction. For this special evening, Media Hologram provided a life-sized Diamond hologram of Johan Cruyff. This added an extra layer of depth and emotion to the fundraising evening: Johan Cruyff was, in a sense, present himself during an evening entirely dedicated to his legacy and the work of his foundation. The hologram perfectly matched the character of the event: high-quality, respectful, and distinctive. This project demonstrates how hologram technology is not only suitable for product presentations or trade shows but also for meaningful live moments during galas, fundraising evenings, and exclusive events. By bringing together history, emotion, and technology, a presentation was created that not only captured attention but also added substance to the evening.
