NVVB Annual Congress raises stage program to higher level with AI hologram Bibbi

For the NVVB Annual Congress, Media Hologram provided four talking AI holograms on stage for two consecutive years. The custom-made character Bibbi was used as an interactive addition to the show and provided visitors with accessible explanations of do's and don'ts within the field of Civil Affairs.

NVVB

The NVVB, in full the Dutch Association for Civil Affairs, represents the interests of municipalities and professionals within the field of Civil Affairs. The association focuses on areas such as personal information management, identity management, elections, service provision, and innovation, among others.

The annual NVVB Congress is an important event where professionals from the field come together to share knowledge, discuss developments, and gather inspiration for the future of Civil Affairs. Topics such as digitalization, laws and regulations, services for residents, and the changing role of municipalities play a central role.

For the 2025 and 2026 editions, Media Hologram was involved to elevate the event visually, content-wise, and digitally. A custom AI hologram was developed on stage based on Lexie, Media Hologram's standard AI hologram assistant. For the NVVB, this character was given its own name and identity: Bibbie. Bibbie was specifically designed for the congress and equipped with a striking headpiece in the shape of a cap. This gave the AI hologram a recognizable look that matched the show and the event's character. Four talking AI holograms were deployed on stage, making Bibbie not just a visual addition but a true part of the program.

During the congress, Bibbie informed visitors about important do's and don'ts within the field of Civil Affairs. This allowed substantive information to be presented in a lighthearted, clear, and modern way. The use of the hologram provided variety in the program and made complex or practical topics more accessible to the audience. In addition to Bibbie's use, Media Hologram, together with Wabber from Etten-Leur, worked on the development of the new NVVB app. This app was developed to give visitors and members easier access to relevant information, current events, and functionalities related to the association and the congress. This not only modernized the stage program but also strengthened the digital support around the NVVB.

This project demonstrates how AI holograms and custom software can be used together within conferences, knowledge events, and industry gatherings. By developing a unique character that resonates with the target audience and combining it with a practical app solution, a complete conference experience is created that brings together presentation, education, interaction, and digital services.
