The Vlaardingen Sports Awards were created to visibly recognize athletes, teams, coaches, volunteers, sports providers, and sporting initiatives from Vlaardingen. During this evening, achievements are celebrated, and people who contribute to sports and physical activity in the city are given a platform.
The awards show brings together local sports talent, clubs, supporters, partners, and involved organizations. This makes it not only an awards ceremony but also a moment to emphasize the power of sports within Vlaardingen. Sports achievements, dedication, perseverance, and community involvement are at the core. For the 2025 edition, Media Hologram was asked to deploy a life-size Diamond hologram on stage. The hologram was used to unveil an award, thereby visually enhancing a significant moment within the program. The use of the Diamond hologram added more suspense and attentiveness to the unveiling. Instead of a standard presentation, a modern stage effect was created that matched the celebratory ambiance of the evening. The hologram made the award visible in a way that immediately captured the attention of the audience in the hall. This project demonstrates how holograms can be used at award shows, sports galas, prize ceremonies, corporate events, and stage productions. A Diamond hologram is suitable for moments when an organization wants to unveil, present, or give extra emphasis to something grand within a live program.
